Hi, I’m Jordan.

I’ve been chasing movement my whole life: rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, anything that helps me feel alive and in my body. Yoga has been at or near the top of that list for nearly twenty years. It’s the one form of movement that is always there, always available to me, and always brings me back to myself.

When I got pregnant for the first time, I went looking for prenatal yoga that could meet me where I was. What I found were classes that felt too gentle, too cautious, like pregnancy meant I had to leave my strength and curiosity at the door. I knew my body was capable of more, and I couldn’t find anyone speaking to that.

So I built it myself.

During my second pregnancy, I created every class, every course, every piece of content you’ll find here. Filmed and written while I was living it (and while my toddler napped). This isn’t a program designed from the outside. It came from inside a pregnant body, on the mat, figuring it out in real time.

I made Samarra Yoga for women who want to feel at home in their pregnant body. Whether that means a strong flow or a slow, restorative practice, there’s space for all of it here. Because pregnancy asks different things of you on different days, and you deserve a practice that understands that.
